After 2 days of travel, three flights, and an amazing taxi ride through the streets of Quito at night, we’re here!
We’ve got a lovely private room at the Blue House Hostel, complete with a very comfortable bed and avocado green walls. (pics tomorrow) We share a bathroom with one other room, which is nice.
It’s rainy and grey here today, but we’ll try to get out and do a bit of exploring. We’re free until Monday when we start Spanish school.
Hope you are all having a great Thursday!
WooHoo! So glad to hear that you are safe! 🙂
Thanks! 🙂
Hola!
Hola! Como esta?
Congratulations on taking that first step outside of your door! How long do you plan to stay in Ecuador? Are you heading to other Spanish speaking areas afterwards?
Thanks, David. We’re here in Ecuador for about a month taking Spanish lessons. Then it’s off to Peru and Colombia for the rest of the summer. We have to be back in the states in September for a wedding.
YAY!!!! Glad to hear you made it safe. Have a fun weekend before you have to hit los libros. :0)
Thanks! We toured our escuela this morning. We’re so excited!
Hola & wahoo for exploring the new surroundings! Glad that you two (and the penguinos) are having such a great time!
So glad you made it safe. Can’t wait for the pictures.
!Buen viaje!
