I was all set to continue this week with our adventures in the Red Centre. But we’re having a few technical glitches at the 11th hour (Quite literally!). And since we hit the Great Ocean Road this morning on a bus tour that will have us off the grid for the next three days, part 2 of our Red Centre adventures won’t be going up until we hit Adelaide on Friday at the very earliest.
It’s been a crazy couple of days at Watts Central. We’ve turned our itinerary on its head again…choosing to fly to Thailand this coming Saturday rather than to Indonesia later next week. That has meant a scramble the past few days to book plane tickets, find a place to sleep in Bangkok, get visa photos taken, and visit the travel doctor here in Melbourne to restock our anti-malarials and a few other meds. This is pretty much the norm on this trip…we’re very good at flying by the seat of our pants and changing directions rapidly…our own version of somersaulting. But sometimes the somersaults mean that other things have to take a back seat for a few days.
Wish us luck! Things should be back to normal again next week…or at least as normal as they can be when you’re running around Bangkok.
Cheers!
Luck! Although, you two are so nice, everyone in Thailand will be charmed & your new friends will help you somersault all over Asia. 😉
