{Fun street art in the neighborhood.}
It was our first full week in Albuquerque and we’re slowly settling into routines and starting to catch up with loved ones. Kyle is back in the workshop full time. I’m working on a few projects from my parents’ living room and garden. And we’re exploring this city that just keeps on growing and changing every single time we leave it. It’s been a week of reunions, laughter, hard work, good times, and always a bit of fun.

{“In a field of roses, I am a wildflower.” Beautiful wildflowers growing in my mom’s garden.}

{Being back in ABQ means getting to see and live with favorite pieces of our old life. This is our ketubah, the beautiful marriage contract we signed ten years ago. It was handpainted by my incredibly talented sister, Susan, and is one of our most beloved pieces of art.}

Have a great week! Next week, my dad and I are off on a road trip to Tucson to visit my uncle. Starting Monday morning, you can follow my roadtripping adventures (& Kyle’s adventures closer to Home 1.0) on our Instagram and Facebook accounts.
