{Street Art in Oaxaca – This one says “Respect for the rights of others is peace.” I just want to sit down in this “living room” and relax.}
It was a busy week in Oaxaca, as we wrapped up time with a few friends who just left Oaxaca (or are about to head out) and we prepared to head up to the US for a bit. The weather started to change a bit this week as well, with cloudier skies and even some rain as we were leaving for the airport on Wednesday. We’re in Texas for a few days and then traveling on to ABQ tomorrow. But first, a few fave things from the past week.

{Chiles for salsa. Oaxaca chiles are the closest we’ve ever found to NM chiles. Makes us happy.}

{Garnachas de Res at Casa Oaxaca. Part of a fancy lunch with good friends.}

{Austen in Austin – A Pride and Prejudice playset a dear friend gave me. LOVE IT! Especially that Elizabeth’s dress says I heart Darcy! And the little fluffy 2.5D (not quite 3D) sheep!}

{Waiting for us in the guest room at our good friends’ house in TX. So happy that this sentiment is the truth! Also, our favorite mints!}
Off to ABQ tomorrow! Have a great weekend!
“Respect for the rights of others is peace.” Amen.
Safe travels.
Thanks, Jay! 🙂
