    This was a quick week here in Oaxaca. The city is starting to fill up a bit for the snowbird season as well as ramping up for Day of the Dead celebrations. We’ve been doing a bit of work and spending time out and about in our fave spots. Starting to decorate for Dia de Muertos and can’t wait to show you the apartment all decked out for the celebration. We’ll even be constructing an ofrenda. We’ve also been doing a bit of nesting, and baking, and cleaning before we leave tomorrow morning for Mexico City to pick up someone very special. Gwyneth is coming down to spend two weeks with us, and we’re very excited to show her around Mexico City and Oaxaca and hang out giggling on the couch. So keep your eye on our Instagram and Facebook accounts, as we’ll be sharing pictures of our misadventures.

    {Kyle made a new friend at the Tlacolula market. This is Bubu and she is a Mexican Hairless - Xoloitzcuintli or Xolo for short. They've been a breed in this region for more than 3500 years and the people here consider them protectors who guard them from evil spirits. Definitely can't feel evil around this adorable one.}
