    Five Things

    It’s December, and we’re back into the swing of things – after a short break to recover from Day of the Dead. We had a restful and quiet November, and a delightful Thanksgiving with a good friend. And now it’s December! And the fiesta season is gearing back up here in Oaxaca. Hoping your November was a good one and that you have a great December coming up.

    {December 1 marked the beginning of a new governatorial term here in Oaxaca - and sentiments are mixed. This is the head of the former governor (Cue) on the body of a rat. He's accused of pocketing a LOT of cash during his term. This was on display for a brief period outside Santo Domingo church yesterday morning. They took it down 5 minutes after we took this photo.}

    I’ve been working on editing and curating photos from Day of the Dead, so keep an eye out for that post next week. And also stories about Las Posadas and the Night of the Radish (a famous radish carving festival here in Oaxaca). December is always quite lively here.

    Have a great week!
