{Oaxacan street art in our neighborhood}
This week was kind of a slow one and a rainy one – Franklin has sent quite a bit of rain our way (even though we’re very far south of the storm). Because of all the rain, we’ve been hanging out at home a lot this week, staying busy with work and getting ready to leave on vacation next week. Yay for Colombia! But we still managed to get out and about a good bit. Here are some of our fave moments from the week.

{The grinder used for grinding the piñas (agave hearts) during the process for making mezcal – usually horse or donkey powered.}

{Love it when the little ones participate in the traditional parades}

{Sign in our neighborhood – “Take care of the Trees”}

{Santissima -our local nanobrewery (because they’re too small to call themselves a microbrewery). IPA, Porter, Pale Ale}
